Sourcing City sponsors the Technology Product award at the BPMA Product Awards 2026

Why this category

Technology Product covers chargers, speakers, headphones and earbuds, phone stands, USB hubs and cables, clocks and watches, webcam covers, mobile accessories, USB and memory products, and mouse mats.

It is one of the few categories where a product has nowhere to hide. A branded tech item either earns a place on someone’s desk or it goes in a drawer, and the recipient makes that decision inside a week. Design, build quality and genuine usefulness are not optional extras here. They are the whole test.

That is a test we recognise. Sourcing City works on the technology behind the merchandise industry rather than in front of it: product data, imagery, pricing and stock feeds, and the platforms distributors use every day to search, quote and sell. Sponsoring the category that rewards technology doing something properly useful felt like the right place to put our name.

The 2026 awards in numbers

Every eligible entry is automatically considered for Innovative Product, Sustainable Product and UK Made Product at no extra cost. Brand Product is new for 2026, and the former Award and Exhibition category has been separated into two dedicated categories.

The Sourcing City team will be at the Christmas Lunch on 10 December, and we are looking forward to seeing the industry together before the year closes. If you are going, come and find us. We are always more interested in hearing what is working and what is not from the people who use our platforms every day than in reading it back in a survey six months later.
