Dynamic Highway passes 74 live suppliers as autumn updates land

Distributor specific pricing now reaches 55 suppliers, every Calculator carries origination and carriage, and seven names join the platform

Dynamic Highway has moved past 74 live suppliers, with a further seven in the onboarding queue. Between them those suppliers now carry 72,412 products with live prices on Sourcing City, of which 52,192 also carry live stock and production capacity.

The gap between those two figures is the honest picture of where supplier data stands. Every Dynamic Highway supplier provides live pricing. Live stock is a separate feed, and roughly seven products in ten now carry it.

Distributor pricing widens to 55 suppliers

55 suppliers are now providing or have confirmed distributor specific pricing on Sourcing City, so the price a distributor sees is the price that supplier has agreed with them rather than a published trade rate.

Distributors who expect to see their own pricing against a supplier and do not should raise it with that supplier directly, or contact Sourcing City and we will chase it on their behalf.

Origination and carriage now in every Calculator

Every Calculator on the platform now includes origination and carriage fields. Both were the most common reason a quote built on Sourcing City needed adjusting afterwards, because the product price was right and the extras were missing.

Suppliers who have not yet populated the new fields will show as not provided against them. We are asking all Dynamic Highway suppliers to supply the full data set so that quotes come out accurate first time.

Data rating moves to Platinum and Dynamic Highway

The supplier data rating, which scores the completeness of a supplier feed out of 100, is now shown for SC Platinum and Dynamic Highway suppliers only. The rating gives distributors a quick read on how much of a supplier record they can rely on before they build a quote from it.

Next: lead times and images

Two further fields are in development. Lead time and images are the next additions to the Dynamic Highway data set, and we will confirm timings with suppliers before they go live.
