Many who know Alistair Mylchreest will know his long held passion to relocate with his family to the USA. Regular holidays and business trips have reinforced his desire for this change of life.

Alistair has now found a business opportunity that will provide an opportunity to gain an initial visa, and has made the difficult decision to move in order to provide the future he wants for himself and his family.

Alistair leaves Sourcing City with our blessing and with gratitude for the nine years of excellent contribution he has made to the company.

As of 1st July David Long, Chairman & Founder of Sourcing City will be resuming the role of CEO.

Alistair is joining Gateway 3D with a board role focused on taking their ‘Personalise IT’ software product to the USA Market. The company is part-backed by a venture capital company and Alistair’s fellow directors include Daniel Ruben (covering Europe) and current managing director, Andrew Talbot. The software enables sales of personalised & promotional products direct to businesses & consumers.

Sourcing City are also continuing their partnership with Gateway 3D to deliver their technology to the UK promotional products marketplace.

David Long said; “Alistair and I were good friends before he joined us, we have formed a great team whilst he was here, and both of us will continue to be close & loyal friends in the future. I am proud about what we have achieved, passionate about what we do as a company every day, and still ambitious for the future – we have a great team and the company’s story still has many more chapters to add!”

Alistair will complete his three months’ notice at the end of June, enabling his many friends in the industry to speak to him before he leaves. If you want to chat about anything, please just give Alistair or David a call on 0844 504 5000.
