The market has been dealt another body blow with the news that the Central Office of Information (COI) has suspended purchasing promotional merchandise with immediate effect. The COI spent around ?3m per year on promotional merchandise, for government campaigns & local offices. All current orders will be honoured, but this will be little comfort to the many suppliers in our industry who were suppliers to them.
