SPS has added to its Senior Management Team with the introduction of Simon Marriott as Head of Operations and Anthony Gorrell as Quality Manager.

Simon joins SPS with a strong background in operations management gained in manufacturing and distribution companies. His skills and expertise cover areas such as business process re-engineering, planning, production management and injection moulding, making him a great addition to the SPS team.  “SPS has already taken great strides to improve its operations, in particular with the introduction of a new ERP system in 2015. I’m really looking forward to taking our operational efficiencies to the next level, which will help us to meet customer demands for better lead times and improved stock levels of core items. Plus, these recent changes and improvements have provided us with greater flexibility in production, resulting in increased capacity, in all areas of manufacturing and branding.”

Anthony joins SPS from Airbus Group Australia Pacific, where he has been based in France for the last three years. He has vast experience in the improvement of workflow layout and processes, which have helped to generate impressive results in his previous roles. And he’s looking forward to bringing his experience and expertise to SPS.  “A curvy pen or Americano mug may be slightly different to a helicopter, but the quality management is just as important to business success. Overseeing quality is more than simply checking products before they leave our building, but putting measures in place to ensure we run efficiently, accurately and effectively. With such a broad range of production operations onsite, I’m looking forward to investigating and improving processes across the business, of which our customers will see the benefits.”
