At Sourcing City, we have always believed that the promotional merchandise industry becomes stronger when ideas, innovation, and leadership are shared internationally, not just locally. That is why we are delighted to be attending the International Leadership Summit 2026 this June.

Hosted by Promotional Products Association International and the European Associations Cooperative, the summit brings together senior leaders from across the global branded merchandise sector to discuss the trends, technologies, and strategic decisions shaping the future of our industry.

Representing Sourcing City at the event will be our Strategy Director, Alistair Mylchreest, who will also be participating as a panelist in the technology discussion sessions.

“As an industry, we are entering a period where technology, data, AI, and connected infrastructure will increasingly define competitive advantage,” commented Alistair. “Events like this matter because they allow leaders from different markets to share experiences, challenge assumptions, and collectively explore where the industry is heading next.”

The summit’s focus on international strategy, leadership, and industry transformation aligns closely with Sourcing City’s own strategic direction, particularly around connected workflows, data infrastructure, AI-enabled discovery, and operational integration across the promotional merchandise ecosystem.

For Sourcing City, attending global leadership events is about more than networking. It is about maintaining perspective on wider market movements, understanding how international markets are evolving, and ensuring we continue to bring fresh thinking and innovation back into the UK and European promotional products community.

The branded merchandise industry is increasingly interconnected, and collaboration between associations, suppliers, distributors, technology providers, and platforms has never been more important.

We look forward to engaging with industry peers from around the world, contributing to the technology conversations, and helping shape what comes next for the global promotional products industry.

And, of course, Brussels in June is not the worst office location we have ever had.
