With more than 20 years of experience in fashion design, including working with major high-street names such as M&S and Next, Clare has played a key role in shaping Kustom Kit’s offering over her 11 years with the brand.
Her expertise has helped Kustom Kit evolve beyond its traditional corporate workwear roots, bringing a modern, fashion-forward update to smart-casual wear while maintaining the quality and durability the brand is known for.
A key part of Clare’s role has been ensuring Kustom Kit continues to grow while strengthening its long-term brand positioning. This includes the development of the Considered Collection, created in response to growing demand for more environmentally conscious products.
Now making up around 10% of the Kustom Kit range, the Considered Collection combines quality with greater consideration for material choices. Selected garments use an 80% BCI Cotton and 20% Recycled Polyester blend, demonstrating that more considered products don’t have to mean compromising on quality.
Looking ahead, Clare sees the progression of Kustom Kit continuing, with a focus on innovative garments that combine contemporary style with quality and durability. Her vision is simple: considered pieces without compromise.
It’s no surprise, then, that Clare’s favourite garment is the KK254 Quarter Zip. With her background in knitwear and an eye for contemporary style, the garment is a natural choice. It also features enzyme-wash technology, which helps reduce pilling, improve colour fastness and enhance softness, while creating a smoother surface suitable for embroidery and decoration.
Clare’s vision for Kustom Kit is clear: continue evolving, continue innovating and never lose sight of quality and durability.
Don’t just take Clare’s word for it, visit the Kustom Kit team at stand F13 on 20th and 21st January 2027 and see the collection for yourself.
