The promotional products sector is shining the spotlight on promotional merchandise’s ability to make people feel valued, with the theme of ‘Thank You!’ for this year’s Promotional Products Week (PPW) which runs from 2-6 October.

BDA (Bensussen Deutsch & Associates) have acquired Manchester based Sports Merchandise Global (SMG). Sports Merchandise Global are the UK’s leading provider of specialist sports merchandise, and were previously part-owned by ORB Group in Glasgow, Scotland.

The industry’s best promotional products will be recognised with the Promotional Product Awards at the next Merchandise World at Silverstone. (Weds 31st Jan & Thursday 1st Feb 2018).

A successful new major industry event, Merchandise World took place at NAEC Stoneleigh from Tuesday 19th & Wednesday 20th September 2017. As expected, many of the owners and senior management from professional distributors attended Merchandise World and the 521 visitors were able to have focussed and meaningful conversations with the 200+ exhibitors.

The BPMA hosted its annual awards dinner on 19th September 2017, after the first day of Merchandise World. The 350 industry peers who attended the event celebrated in style and were also entertained by close versions of Austin Powers and Ali G whilst raising funds for Alzheimer’s Society.
