Voting is now underway for the Sourcing City Awards 2020. These prestigious annual awards recognise the Top Distributors in the industry and the Suppliers most valued by SC Distributor Customers.

“Over the last nine months I have read posts on industry bulletin boards and received several ‘Private & Confidential’ letters through the post from investors, some who are either unknown, or little known within the industry, interested in buying promo businesses. How flattering this may seem to owners, but perhaps not.”

Due to the current and unclear further developments surrounding the Covid 19 pandemic, we have decided to postpone the industry meetings until May 18 to 20, 2021.

Yesterday’s measures taken by the German Federal Government shows how dynamic the developments regarding COVID-19 are. They also make medium to long-term planning for all areas of economic life more difficult. Of course, this also affects the PSI show in January.

Sourcing City have published a report analysing: PPE Products in the Promotional Merchandise Market. The report illustrates that the demand for core promotional merchandise is down 64.5% since the pandemic and lockdown down took hold.

The entire industry have been invited to take part in anonymous survey hosted by the BPMA. The aim is to see how the pandemic crisis is affecting companies the promotional merchandise industry in real terms.
