The country has voted, and whether a Remain or Leave supporter, all businesses in the promotional merchandise industry now find themselves watching and waiting as we navigate unchartered waters. Sourcing City are interested in hearing views from distributor and supplier businesses across the country. So, to kick things off, here is a personal view on how the referendum played out.

We are sad to pass on the news that Alan Soloway, founder of EMC Advertising Gifts passed away on Friday 1st July. Alan died after a short illness and is mourned by his beloved wife Audrey, children Marc and Louise, son in law Rey and grandson Jesse as well as many family and friends.

The PAGE group hosted their annual awards conference and dinner. The event was held at Brandon Hall Hotel & Spa in Brandon, Coventry on Thursday 2nd June 2016. The conference was attended by PAGE members where Brian Hayward discussed the well received, new PAGE catalogue and changes to the promotional industry.

On May 19th Liz Young; Supplier Services Director, and Aiden Goldstar; Editor of PPD Magazine visited the PF Logo Express factory in Poznan, Poland as guests of Tracey Bowen, UK Director for PF operation.

The current round of Dynamic Highway Presentations came to a close last week after a well-attended presentation in Stafford on Tuesday, and the BPMA Conference at Heathrow on Thursday. Over the five events 200 distributors and suppliers came to discover more about this revolution in data sharing and collection across the Industry.
