We are sad to pass on the news that Alan Soloway, founder of EMC Advertising Gifts passed away on Friday 1st July.
Alan died after a short illness and is mourned by his beloved wife Audrey, children Marc and Louise, son in law Rey and grandson Jesse as well as many family and friends.
Alan was one of the pioneers of the industry starting a pencil stamping business from a garage in the 1960s. His two loves at work were marketing where he was famous for having advertised in every publication at rates only reserved for EMC and the technicalities of printing where he always wanted every new fangled device going regardless of cost and pushed the EMC factory team to get the very best out of every machine and achieve very high standards.
Outside of work, he loved to travel and was a very keen sailor, skier and enjoyed a good game of table tennis!
He will be missed greatly by all at EMC and in the promotional gifts community.
If anyone would like a message of condolence passed on to Audrey, please send to Alan’s nephew Simon Kay at EMC or email email@example.com
