Friday 13th November might be unlucky for Fluid Branding’s CEO Matt Franks as he is due to appear in court. Arrested and charged for the crime of Cow Tipping, Matt will be participating in Children’s Hospice South West’s Jail and Bail Charity fundraising event.

It is alleged that Mr Franks was observed using undue force to deliberately push cows in a sideways motion until they toppled. Crouching behind a nearby bush until an unsuspecting creature dozed off, Mr Franks was seen to approach the animal and with malice of forethought launch a shoulder into the beast’s midriff causing it to tip. Fortunately the animals appeared unharmed, though unable to revert to an upright position.

The first of its kind for the charity, the event is to be held in the original court docks at Bodmin Court, now known as the Courtroom Experience at Shire Hall, Mount Folly Square, Bodmin in Cornwall. Defendants will be charged and thrown in a prison cell, from which they have to raise £999 bail on the day from friends and industry colleagues using just a phone and laptop to walk free! An online giving page will be going live on the day, enabling Matt to raise the cash required for freedom.

Matt comments “It will be a traumatic day. These outrageous claims are wholly untrue. I just hope I can get through the trial and raise enough bail money to walk free. I shall be calling on my friends and industry colleagues for all the support they can give me on the day!”

Sarah Stott, Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser for CHSW said “We are absolutely delighted that Matt and the team at Fluid Branding are supporting Children’s Hospice South West again this year, with their various fundraising activities. This event is a first for us and should be a pretty special one, we are very excited to see what the days has in store! We rely almost entirely on voluntary donations to run our beautiful Little Harbour hospice in St Austell, and without the support of local businesses like Fluid Branding we simply couldn’t continue to be there for the life-limited children and families who need us most. Thank you.”
