The bpma will hold its first ever industry conference ‘Building a Better Business’ on the 10th July 2014 at the Park Inn, Heathrow, London. The event has been sometime in the planning and has been on the bpma agenda for the last two years. Director General Gordon Glenister commented, “Initial research from members was greeted very enthusiastically. There is a real need to help support members in developing stronger businesses and this will be very much the theme of the event. The workshops will be very interactive in order to achieve the desired outcomes.”

A number of industry specific workshops, covering a broad spectrum of topics from a Social Media master class to a review of the legal requirements for Pensions and Auto-Enrolment, will be held at the conference. Furthermore, attendees will have the opportunity to speak to specialist consultants who be on hand throughout the day. The bpma will also announce results from their industry benchmarking study and in the afternoon there will be separate Distributor and Supplier customer service seminars. A number of experts from various companies will support the event, each providing a top 10 tip guide in their own discipline. In the evening a number of new awards will be presented along with a key note speech from a well-known guest speaker.
