Wild Thang show support helping raise much needed funds for The British Red Cross at the ‘With Love from Liverpool’ one off fundraiser concert.

On Saturday 19th September 2015, leaders, musicians and businesses alike from across the Liverpool City region rallied together to host this one-off concert hosted by John Bishop and Janice Long. Taking place at the ACC arena, aptly called ‘With Love from Liverpool’, was an urgent bid to support the desperate plight of thousands of refugee families fleeing from war. The many, many £1000’s raised on the night will be donated to The British Red Cross.

Andrew Dwerryhouse commented: “We felt we just had to help and thought the best way of doing that because of the short timescales was by creating something in-house, so we decided to produce the Official t-shirts free of charge so they could be sold on the night and online with all proceeds from sales going to The British Red Cross. The messages were simple : ‘With Love from Liverpool’ and #allyouneedislove – maybe the world should take note.

When we heard that nearly £2000 had been raised on just the sale of the t-shirts the whole Wild Thang team really did feel an immense sense of pride that we were doing our little bit for those people most in need, as a company we always try to do what we can when it comes to corporate social responsibility and would like to think people and organisations do take note of our efforts as a company. In the same week we were immersed in a joint industry campaign with the British Promotional Merchandise Association called promotional product week (#PPWeek), all aimed at showing the importance of promotional merchandise in any campaign or promotion, so for me it could not have been a better finale feel good factor raising all that money and showcasing the fact that a piece of merchandise such as a branded t-shirt can really make the ultimate impact.”
