Bill Deavin the owner of Wessex Publicity in Dorset, decided to liquidate his company on 24th March 2010, following taking the decision to retire. The company was not offered for sale on the open market and after 32 years trading the company simply closed the doors. Dave Laffling who had been Bill’s right hand man for several years is now evaluating new opportunities. Dave has worked in the promotional industry for just over 20 years. Initially he spent 12 years with 3M and also spent some time with Non-Stop Promotions, before commencing his second spell with Wessex Publicity 7 years ago.
