We caught up with two well known names in our industry the other day. Following numerous prompts from their industry colleagues, and having then discussed and agreed that there really is a very clear and present need, they confirmed that Pro-Motion Consulting and The Cedarwick Consultancy are now working together to form a new joint training venture: “Promotional Pathway”.

Through the combined skills and experience of Viv Blumfield and Graham Winter, both of whom have been working within our market for over 25 years, Promotional Pathway will bring to the world of promotional merchandise a new, dedicated and, more importantly, relevant series of training courses, designed around the needs of the many companies operating in our market today.

“Within our two consultancy companies we already offer a range of tailor-made services, but the one frequent and common element that is often being requested is that of quality and industry specific staff training.” Graham went on to explain. “External sales training and development courses are often far too broad in their approach and are rarely able to address the very specific needs of our sometimes idiosyncratic market place”.

Viv explained further. “We clearly see a demand for both external courses, where new staff, individuals or small teams can attend an off-site day course and gain an insight or induction into the end-to-end world of promotional merchandise, and internal courses where companies may choose to hold an in-house training course targeting some very specific areas of sales and staff development”.

Both Graham and Viv are both looking forward to the fantastic opportunity that Sourcing City Live Show brings, to launch their exciting new venture. At the show they will be launching their new “Introduction to the world of Promotional Merchandise” a 1-day course and presenting their full programme of follow up external and in-house training and development courses.
