Less than a week into the project to say a big Thank You to the brave front line NHS teams battling COVID 19 …and our industry is pulling out all the stops …but we need more!

Donations have been pouring in from many suppliers across the industry with now enough donated to generously fill 3000 goody bags to go out soon after Easter. Two families will be heading to an airfield near Oxford on the 15th to collate the goody bags and send them off on their way on behalf of the Promotional Industry to the brave NHS teams leading the fight against COVID 19!

While donations are still coming in hourly we still need more to get to the target of 5000 bags! So please do get in touch and join the many suppliers and some distributors who have generously given cash pledges via suppliers to say a BIG THANK YOU!

We fully understand that the current economic situation is very tough for all businesses in our industry but I am sure life is much tougher for all those NHS teams working with patients struck down by this horrible pandemic…so what a great time to say Thank You to them!

Many of the industry’s suppliers and distributors are supporting #PromoteTheNHS, and showing their appreciation for all of valuable work the National Health Service teams are doing under very difficult circumstances.

25 Suppliers companies and 9 Distributor companies are onboard so far…

#PromoteTheNHS Explained:

Two companies in the industry have come up with an idea on how suppliers and distributors can work together to give something back to the NHS. This is not for anyone’s gain, and every product contribution large or small is of value.

Desktop Ideas and Print Run Promotions are heading up an appeal across the promotional merchandise industry, with the aim to create gift packs to be given away to the dedicated nursing staff who are risking their lives on the front line of the deadly Covid 19 virus. This is our opportunity to come together as professionals to say thank you to those that are helping others in great need.

Initially the gift packs will go to the new London ExCel Nightingale Hospital. If the campaign is successful there will be a roll out to the new hospitals being built at the NEC Birmingham, GMEX Manchester and The Principality Stadium Cardiff. The target is to cover all of these location with £50,000 of goods in pledges.

The regular updates in the link above shows all of the companies that have got involved so far, why not join them…
