When you pick a nice restaurant by the sea, on a Wednesday evening, in a small resort on the northeast coast of Corfu, you expect only to be making choices from the menu and to take in the view. Or so Steve and Liz from Sourcing City thought!

 

Given the chance though, us Brits do like to congregate, don’t we?  Not unusual to hear someone from home also voicing their preferences for starters and so on. However, it is a surprise when you hear Malcolm and Matt from Impression Europe negotiating the squid and octopus choice at the next table!

 

‘What are the chances of that?’ ‘Small world!’ etc . A superb coincidence and an impromptu evening with friends, which we thought worth sharing.

We did consider whether the meeting could be expensed as a ‘business conference’, but none of us were going to try to convince the respective money counters of that one!
