Total Merchandise, one of the UK’s largest providers of promotional products, was delighted to be asked by charity WellChild to provide printed wristbands for its WellChild Awards, which took place in London last week (15 October 2019).

The WellChild Awards – which were hosted this year by TV presenters Radzi Chinyanganya and Gaby Roslin – is an annual event that honours remarkable children with exceptional health needs across the country, as well as some of the healthcare professionals who make a difference every day.

The high-profile ceremony was held at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London and saw 15 awards handed out to the winners, including children and outstanding medical professionals, as selected by a panel of experts.

The team at Total Merchandise was delighted to support the event by providing a charitable donation of promotional wristbands, which were worn by all guests in attendance and featured vibrant artwork designed by some of the children and young people the charity helps.

(Hosts Radzi and Gaby were so taken with the wristbands that they wore all 12 of the designs!)

The awards was attended by a host of famous faces, including Pixie Lott, Duncan Bannatyne and Rochelle and Marvin Humes. Also among the guests were none other than WellChild Patron, HRH the Duke of Sussex, who was joined by the Duchess of Sussex for the occasion.

The Royal couple met the winners and their families, with the Duke also giving a speech on stage where he praised the bravery of the young people being celebrated.

Speaking about the collaboration, Total Merchandise’s co-founder and Systems Director, David Stoddart, commented: “We like to lend our support to as many worthy causes across the UK as we can. We were thrilled to be invited to support the WellChild Awards and are delighted to hear the wristbands were so popular with all the attendees!”
