First Editions’ revolutionary Foamo reusuable cup has emphatically proven its category-defining credentials by being awarded the Grand Prix in the BPMA Product Awards 2025.
The Grand Prix is the highest honour in the promotional merchandise industry. Awarded to the stand-out product from all that year’s Platinum award winners, it recognises exceptional achievement in innovation, functionality, sustainability and design across all categories.
Foamo scooped two Platinums in the 2025 BPMA awards – for Drinkware Product of the Year and UK-Made Product of the Year.
The BPMA accolades followed the BPF Bottlemakers Award 2025 for innovation in packaging, which recognised Foamo’s ultra-light design and contribution to reducing environmental impact.
Mark Alderson, Managing Director of First Editions, commented: “Taking this top honour in the BPMA awards is a fantastic testament of what a unique and exciting product Foamo is – an idea with the capacity to make a real difference, not just within our own industry but also in the everyday lives of consumers and retailers.”
As its name suggests, Foamo uses patented foaming technology and is proudly British-made, using 100% renewable energy.
The product uses 50% less material than conventional hot drinks cups, and is ultra-light, self-insulating and dishwasher-safe. Foamo is also 100% recyclable and plant-based.
