Promo Trade are currently running Promo Trade Experiences which is a weekly competition for their customers to win different experiences. The experiences change every week and have included a Supercar Driving Experience, Take Away Lunches for the whole company and a Spa Day for Two with Afternoon Tea.

Alex Brown, former Account manager at Outstanding Branding was the lucky winner of the Michelin Star meal for two experience. Alex was selected at random from the Promo Trade Experiences safe.

As soon as Alex’s order number was pulled out, he was congratulated and the planning for the Ultimate Dining Experience began. During the planning for the experience there was a lot of discussion back and forth with different set menus, different wine lists and different menu choices. After a long discussion Alex made the decision of the date, the menu, the wine and the restaurant.

All the planning was carried out to ensure that Alex and his plus one had the best dining experience they could ever imagine. It was decided that Alex was going to enjoy a divine Three Course Meal with Brut at the Michelin Starred Restaurant Galvin La Chapelle, London. There was a vast majority of dishes to choose from which ranged from; Lasagne of Dorset Crab to Tagine of Bresse Pigeon.

Upon arrival to Galvin La Chapelle on the dark Halloween night, Alex and his guest of honour was seated at their table before being brought a large glass of wine. The moody dim lighting fitted in perfectly with the dark cold Halloween night.

Alex and his guest were blown away by the food which was served and agreed that it was truly the ultimate dining experience.

Alex said, ‘A fantastic experience to win. The food and evening was second to none and this was only my second Michelin Star restaurant ever! The industry needs suppliers to incentivise distributors and their sales teams more to keep them motivated. Thanks for a lovely experience Promo Trade!’
