Even so, the leading confectionery merchandise producer is encouraging distributors to reserve their stock early for the festive season.

Even so, the leading confectionery merchandise producer is encouraging distributors to reserve their stock early for the festive season.
“I think we’ve all become more used to expecting the unexpected,” commented Mandy Hastie, Director at the Sweet People. “Fortunately, we now manufacture our eco-packaging, pack and produce full colour printing ourselves, in our UK factory, but it’s still best to be well-prepared for any eventuality. We’re urging our customers to plan ahead to avoid missing out on Christmas gifting – to be on the safe side while stocks last.”
The new winter collection was officially launched at last month’s Merchandise World Exhibition alongside the Sweet People’s new look branding.
One of the most popular items in the collection was the 100% recyclable Advent Calendar, which ticks all the eco boxes and delivers on taste with its individually wrapped Lindor truffles behind each window. With the Sweet People’s new fulfilment service, distributors can also take advantage of direct mailing the calendars to their distributors’ customers, which is a nice alternative to a Christmas card.
Equally popular are the moreish mallow mountains, mouth-watering luxury chocolates, Scottish shortbread, hot chocolate and fruit cake – all individually personalised and packed in fully branded eco packaging.
“We’ve ramped up our focus on sustainability and environmentally sound production,” added Mandy. “From our food-safe cardboard packaging and range of reusable gift boxes to tins made from recyclable materials using solar power, we’re committed to helping our distributors and their customers tread lightly on the planet this Christmas.”
Orders for the ever-popular retro best sellers and luxury chocs have been high – all of which are made, decorated and hand-packed in the UK in the Sweet People’s SALSA audited factory.
