Gill Thorpe CEO of The Sourcing Team, together with a group of friends, came together to create ‘Treasured Chests’ as a team of women who wanted to support the amazing Walk the Walk charity.

Walk the Walk is a grant making breast cancer charity, which means that everybody taking part in the challenges is raising money towards future grants. The charity then works with charities big and small that are involved with breast cancer, and grants funds to where they know it will make the most difference.

The Moon Walk is a 26.2 mile walk across London through the night. The ‘Treasured Chests’ team commenced training at the beginning of the year to build up to this long and tough event which was held on 16th May 2015. Not only does this raise fantastic funds for a wonderful charity, but it brings friends and colleagues together.

The ‘Treasured Chests’ as team of eight raised an impressive £5,275.98 and the event itself raised £2,576,895 – so far!
