Liz Young along with other familiar faces joined Stephen Taylor as his guests at the St Johns Hospice spring Luncheon for an afternoon at The Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park.

During a fabulous lunch including Saddle of Cornish Lamb we also heard from the speaker John Sergeant who regaled us with stories from his time as a news correspondent and more recently Strictly Come Dancing.

St Johns Hospice provides free palliative care to over 2,000 patients and families each year, the purpose of this lunch specifically was to raise funds for the Hospice Nurse Appeal, which aims to ensure that nurses can make patients and families feel as comfortable as possible at the hospice.

It really was a wonderful afternoon. Thank you to Stephen for inviting us all.
