On 14th November, Premier Impressions welcomed Yiannis Spiliotopoulos and Eric Janssen from Staples Promotional Products to their printing and engraving facility at Newhaven.   Both Staples visitors have EMEA Account responsibility for global brands including HP, Coca-Cola, Snap-On and they were accompanied by two main stakeholders, including the Global Social & Environmental Compliance Manager from one of their key accounts. Their aim was to learn about the branding processes and illustrate to the customer the compliance of Staples’ partners.

As Sedex accredited members, Premier Impressions work closely with our key accounts to develop joint commercial partnerships and identify future business opportunities, naturally making Staples very welcome.   The visitors reviewed our SMETA Audit and held lengthy discussions relating to business ethics, labour management and the health and safety aspects of our business.

Staples and the customers spent several hours touring the facility and learning about the processes involved.  Staples confidence in partnering with Premier Impressions and visiting accompanied by their Global Accounts, confirms that investment in Social and Environmental compliance, systems and efficiencies and staff wellbeing, create a great partner for our customers to trade with and a great place for our staff to work.

Yiannis reinforced this, stating “We believe that such visits help develop partnerships with our customers and our suppliers.  It is important for our customers to understand the whole process and be educated to better comprehend what we are actually offering.

I was really happy sitting on the same table with yourselves and the customers, discussing their requirements, as it also gives you a better understanding of what our customers require and how you can further develop your business to continuously meet their requirements?”
