SPS has secured a licencing agreement with ‘StixToGo’ to manufacture and supply their innovative hot drinks cup accessory to the UK and European promotional market, as part of their Americano range.

StixToGo is a simple yet effective ‘stopper’ used in take-out coffee cups, to eliminate splashes and spills. It snaps firmly into the sipping hole of a lid, and will also retain 40% more heat in the mug. Available in over 30,000 stores worldwide, the StixToGo brand is now available for the promotional market in the UK and Europe, through SPS.

SPS Sales and Marketing Director, Diane Anderton, explained more about this addition to the product range: “SPS are already very well-known when it comes to UK-made promotional drinkware. Our Americano family of products continues to be a huge success and we’re always looking for new ways to develop our product offering and add further value. This new addition to the range will bring something innovative to the market, which we’re sure will be very well-received.”

Thanks to the toolmaking and manufacturing expertise across the SPS group, the patented StixToGo will be manufactured in the UK, and supplied as an optional extra with products in the Americano drinkware range. Available initially with a standard ‘Drink Me’ message in black or white, the company plans to offer more styles and colours to the range, and bespoke designs are available from 5,000 pieces.

Invented ten years ago by Tom Burns, StixToGo has built up into a huge US brand, especially popular with charity campaigns. Tom explained why he is pleased to be working with SPS. “Part of our ethos as business is to manufacture high quality products, with a commitment to social and environmental responsibility. StixToGo is manufactured from Polypropylene. Available from late September, the product is available in black and white with standard ‘Drink Me’ message. Bespoke models and different colours are available subject to minimum order quantities.
