Screenworks, one of the UK’s longest established garment screen print, embroidery and digital print service providers, has had a busy year with lots of exciting product launches, including its award-winning fully-customisable sublimated softshell gilet.

The company is proud to announce that the gilet has won the Platinum award in the British Promotional Merchandise Association (BPMA) Awards 2020 in the Textile Product of the Year category.

At Merchandise World 2020, Screenworks will be exhibiting on stand A8. The company’s gilet, and the other winning products from the BPMA Awards 2020, will also be on display at the BPMA stand, D4, during the event.

Below, we hear from Duncan Gilmour (managing director) and Matt Daines (sales director) about what the company is planning this year…


“This is the biggest UK show for the promotional merchandise industry, and we are proud to be debuting the award-winning gilet on our stand,” says Matt.

“We have spent many months preparing and we are delighted with our final stand design and layout, which has been divided into three sections. We will have an ‘off-the-shelf’ stock product area, a section to highlight our customised products – where we will demonstrate our consultative approach, and the ‘Inspired’ section which showcases bespoke design and customisation.

“We also want to showcase our creative and design capabilities, which are already proving to be an invaluable asset to those clients who have taken advantage of this offering”

Duncan adds: “Merchandise World is the best place to network, and a great chance for us to meet with existing and new clients. It also provides a really good educational platform for our staff, and we encourage them to embrace the opportunities it presents.

“We’re very excited about launching the new look Screenworks to the market, following our re-brand, along with our exciting Inspired brand.

“From softshell jackets and gilets, to bespoke socks and bags we have carefully selected our products and we’re aiming to cover the entire spectrum at the show. Each of our three areas will have a product selected especially for display and expert staff on-hand to offer advice. It’s set to be an exciting show!”
