As mentioned in our recent September story posting, we had some wonderful news last week that Iona Lake who works at Scanglo as a Production Manager and is the daughter of the owner Matthew Lake, has been selected for Team England’s 75-strong team athletics squad for the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Australia!

Team England will include 75 athletes as part of the largest party they have ever sent to an overseas event for next year’s Commonwealth Games in Queensland, Australia. Around 600 competitors and staff are expected to travel to Brisbane and the Gold Coast, and we can’t wait until next April for it to all happen and see if Iona can pick up a medal for Team England!
