We, Promo Trade Co, were proud to sponsor the Alexander Devine Santa Dash in Windsor last month.
It is, in fact, the first time our company has chosen a charity and made a conscious decision to support one – something we always thought would consume huge time and resources, but it’s not like that at all.
On Sunday 25th November the Promo Trade Team not only sponsored the event, we  took in the Santa Dash. A 5K run through Windsor dressed as Santa’s.
Alexander Devine is a Children’s Hospice Service and was founded in 2007 with the aim of providing a dedicated for all children with life-limiting and life-threatening illnesses, in Berkshire and beyond.
During the build up to the big dash, we tried to raise as much money as possible. We set the target of £750 which we smashed, within the first 3 days of campaigning. Our total is now up to just over £1200, however we have left our Just Giving Page open, just in case we had a few last minute donations.
We would personally like to thank everyone who supported us and donated. Every little helps and your donations are greatly appreciated. For every £100 that we raised that helps fund a carer for half a day in the respite centre. Overall Alexander Devine raised an outstanding £19,000 from the Santa Dash!
All of the team managed to complete the dash in under 40 minutes which we are all so proud of, especially as there was no training beforehand.
We have just started to join this journey that Alexander Devine have been on, and we hope to be part of it – however big or small and encourage others to do the same. It all counts.
