Conceived in 2022, the Shindig was an opportunity for Premier to show suppliers their gratitude following COVID.

But the format worked, and it turned into a calendar highlight for all concerned.

For 2026, Skylark Social at Prettyfields Vineyard, was chosen as the venue. Pretty by name, pretty by nature, and it didn’t disappoint.

”The whole night was superb, the venue, food and band were brilliant, it is a stunning space and the time and effort put in to organising it doesn’t go unnoticed.  After a busy first 6 months of the year to all be able to come together and enjoy a night with lovely people was just what was needed, thank you for making that happen.”

Bathed in 30-degree sunshine the guests were treated to wine and beer, both produced on site, alongside small-batch, artisan, spirits and cocktails made by local producers.

Following a spread of bruschetta, charcuterie and olives, a buffet of wood-fired pizzas was served.

As the sun began to set over the vines, a 4-piece band filled the air with floor-filling bangers.

“I haven’t enjoyed a work social as much as I don’t know in how long…..everything about it was just perfect.”

After a few servings of Dutch courage, Founder Jamie Marshall took to the mic to deliver a heartfelt yet typically edgy speech explaining how our friends and suppliers are vital to the success Premier has been experiencing.

The night drew to a close and the revellers returned to a local hotel for a nightcap or two.

“Fantastic evening, great venue , felt like we had somehow transported to Italy sat there in the sun.”

Premier are already laying plans for Shindig ’27. And if this year is anything to go by, the bar’s been set.
