The children of Feering Church of England School had an assembly with a difference, when local businessman Jamie Marshall and his team popped in to give the school some free promotional goodies. With the school marathon coming up on October 13th 2017, Jamie thought the promo items may be just what the children needed to get them revved up for the big day.

Jamie, a keen runner himself, took great delight in getting the children engaged and excited about being active and taking part in their School Marathon. As an added surprise in addition to the water bottles, pens and rugby balls he donated, he also pledged a donation of £1 per student for their first lap of the school field.

Managing Director of Premier Print and Promotion Jamie Marshall said: “We’re a locally based company, and proud of it, and we like to support schools in the locality whenever we can. When we heard they had a School Marathon coming up, we wanted to show our support. We’re all very aware these days of how important it is to keep active – especially for children – so hopefully a few goodies and some sponsorship will inspire the children of Feering School to all do their best on the day.”

Mr Sutcliff, Feering’s Assistant Headteacher, said: “We’re really grateful to Jamie and his team. Children who are active learn better and ultimately we want to develop a love of being active too – and that’s something that can stay with them throughout their lives. The water bottles, rugby balls and pens that we have been given today – are just a nice way to spur them on the day. We weren’t expecting any sponsorship, so that was a really nice surprise too”.
