Multi award-winning distributor of promotional merchandise, Outstanding Branding, is very pleased to communicate that their fundraising efforts for November have been an Outstanding success!
In October, the company revealed that they would be taking part in a month-long fundraiser to raise as much money as they could for their chosen charity, Save the Children. As Head of Finance, Muhammad Anwaar, had chosen Save the Children, the company thought that they would honour him with their very own ‘Mo-vember’. For the entire month of November, each of the men attempted to grow the most impressive, or perhaps worst, moustache possible – the progress of which was covered on the company’s Facebook and Twitter feeds.
During the whole of Mo-vember, donations were made by fellow employees and suppliers on the Outstanding Branding Virgin Money Giving Page, ranging from £5 to £100 which in the end equalled an incredible £785! The overall total now raised since September is £1,039.84 which has completely succeeded the expectations of everyone at the company. Sales Director Andy Thorne comments “The #teamOB lads have tried very hard for Mo-Vember. Some have naturally produced a Mo; others would have taken until Christmas and still not stood a chance – but the main thing is that they did it together to raise money for a great cause in Save the Children.
As always, the support from our supply chain has been phenomenal, it’s been the driving force for the lads to achieve over the £1000 raised. Well done everyone!”
The entire company will be raising money for Save the Children on the 18th December by taking part in Text Santa Christmas Jumper Day. This year, Save the Children have teamed up with ITV’s Text Santa and two other fantastic charities – Macmillan Cancer Support and Make-A-Wish® UK. Although the scheme encourages donations of £2 per participant, each member of #teamOB will donate a minimum of £5, and a small competition will be held for the worst Christmas jumper!
