STATEMENT: “There are some totally unfounded rumours circulating that the reason that CMC have ceased trading is due to Orb International not having paid the money for the purchase of CMC’s Sports Division. I can categorically assure everyone that this is not the case. Simply put, the deal done was a cash deal, and the transaction could not have completed until the money was paid. The purchase sum was paid in full on the day of completion.
