Simon Haskew and Neil Vinnicombe of the Bristol office of Begbies Traynor have been appointed joint liquidators of Non-Stop Promotions & Marketing Limited. A specialist provider of promotional merchandise, Non-Stop was established in 1987 and was a UK market leader achieving annual sales in excess of ?6m at the time of its acquisition by Dublin-based PPAG in 2007. Located in Pewsey, Wiltshire, with a second office in Manchester, Non-Stop employed some 20 staff who were all made redundant when the company ceased to trade following the collapse of its parent company and trading subsidiary earlier this week. Simon Haskew said: “Non-Stop Promotions & Marketing Limited is insolvent and therefore unable to meet its liabilities in full.” The appointment was made at unusually short notice, with the consent of the company’s bank, in order to protect the general interests of creditors and explore an expression of interest relating to a number of Non-Stop’s assets. These were subsequently sold to Promotional Gifts Limited. “The company’s trading history and financial position will be made public on Friday 26 February as part of our report to creditors.” | Creditors are requested to send a statement of their claim to Begbies Traynor (Central) LLP, Harbourside House, 4-5 The Grove, Bristol BS1 4QZ no later than 12 noon on 25 February 2010. | The creditors’ meeting is on Friday 26 February 2010 at Venturers House, King Street, Bristol BS1 4PB starting at 11am. |
