LSi are pleased to have welcomed four new starters in the past few months and three returnees.

Jodie Laughton joined us in sales support at the end of March. Having worked at Reactiv Media as call centre supervisor for 18 months previous, Jodie brings a wealth of experience to the role and is currently supporting Lynda Clegg.

Charlotte Waters joins us as sales executive and brings with her a fantastic sales grounding having spent 4 years previous with the Nationwide Building Society.

Charlotte Waters

“I am Leeds born and bred. I am a very proud Yorkshire lass, I have travelled a little but would love to travel the world someday. I would love to go to Hong Kong next time around!!

I worked at Nationwide Building Society for 4 years prior to working here. I was an inbound sales consultant dealing with opening current accounts, credit cards, home insurance and personal loans.

I feel like I am fitting in well here at LSi and I am absolutely loving coming to work every day. There is a heck of a lot of things to learn but I feel like I am getting there and have excellent support from Chris and the whole sales office. This job fits me so well and I am so happy to be here and can’t wait to compete against the well-established sales executives here!”

Jodie Laughton

“I am originally from Barnsley but I now live in Halifax. Before working for LSi I have had a variety of different jobs, ranging from call centre work to running a fleet of roadsweepers. I haven’t worked in this industry before, up to now I am absolutely loving it. Everyone is so helpful and friendly, it really makes a difference when you’re just learning the ropes. The hardest part was getting my head around the system. I really couldn’t wish to work anywhere else.”

Sadie Dransfield

“I am from Cleckheaton and now only live up the road in Roberttown. Before working at LSi I ran a catering business with my Mum for 3 years and before that I worked at UK Greetings in Customer Services for 3 years.

When looking for a job, I was looking to get back into the office environment. When the opportunity came along at LSi I was extremely excited to get back into the hustle and bustle of a busy office environment. I feel I am settling in well, the first couple of weeks were tough, although with help from very supportive colleagues & Sarah I am loving life at LSi.”

Jessica Barrett

“I am a local girl at heart. I attempted to move away to a city but became too home sick so soon came back to my roots.

I have followed a few career paths, working in catering as well as becoming a fully qualified beauty therapist, so starting in the industry was nerve-racking to start with. However the nerves soon passed when I realised how helpful and welcoming everyone is. I can’t wait to understand my role fully and be able to stand on my own two feet.”

LSi welcomed back Sophie, Liz and Natalie recently. Sophie Thompson left LSi seven years ago to start a family. Two children later (Zac and Mia) and a spell working for her husband’s company, Sophie has returned to part-time work in the accounts department.

Liz Dipper (sales) and Natalie Fox (graphic designer) both left in April 2013 to have their first children. Liz gave birth to baby Owen 9lb 2oz in May whilst Natalie gave birth to baby Orla 6lb 3oz in July on the same day as the birth of Prince George.

Sophie said, “I worked for LSI from 2004 to 2007 in the admin department and left to go on maternity leave for 9 months but this turned out to be 6 years!! And two children later!! I returned in Feb 14 has an accounts assistant and love it!!”.

Liz said, “I returned back to work from maternity leave in March after having my gorgeous little boy Owen on the 27th May 2013. After a day being back it felt like I had never been away! After working here for 6 years it wasn’t really a hard choice coming back as the guys here are like family – plus I only work part time so still get lots of time with my not so little boy.”

Natalie said, “I returned back to work from maternity leave in March and it’s like I had never left! I could gross you out with my labour experience but you might be eating or want to have kids… BUT the final outcome was definitely worth it and Orla is so special to us, she was even born on the same day as the future King George (we have the royal silver penny too!) There was definitely no doubt I would be coming back to work at LSi they’re like my crazy extended family and really helped me out through a tough time in which i am so appreciative of.”.

We are extremely pleased all three have returned to the LSi family and wish them well on their parenting journeys.
