This year marks the 15th anniversary of Allwag Promotions in the promotional merchandise industry. Launched in 1999, Alan and Angela Wagstaff, with Alan’s print background and Angela’s marketing strengths endeavoured to build a business to be proud of. They celebrated their fantastic milestone in style with a ‘killer’ of an Away Day on 14 June.

Set in the gorgeous grounds of the Ivy Hill Hotel in Margaretting, the Allwag Promotions team spent the morning reviewing their SWOT analysis and biggest achievements of the year and planning their strategy for the year to come.

Angela Wagstaff, Director of Allwag Promotions, opened the day by reminiscing over some of the most memorable events of the past 15 years including starting life in the garage and then moving to offices at the beautiful Braxted Park Estate, which they soon out grew! Becoming the first promotional distributor to be awarded Investors In People Gold was another major achievement and established Alllwag ‘as a great place to work’. However, one of her proudest moments was moving to their new premises in Hatfield Peverel in 2012 and winning the NWUPC contract earlier this year to supply the Education sector.

An awards ceremony followed the afternoon of team building exercises where three teams ‘walked the plank’, ‘geo-cached’ and accepted the challenge to see who could create the highest ‘coke fountain’. The evening ended with a murderous surprise! Whilst having dinner, the teams had to unravel clues to discover who had killed the notorious gangster.

The entire day was captured in a unique way by an Illustrator, Juli Dosad, who hand drew each aspect of the day onto a huge 2 metre billboard which is now mounted on the wall in our sales office as a memento of the day!

Commenting on their achievement, Alan said “Our success wouldn’t be possible without the dedication of our loyal staff and support from our key suppliers”.
