International Women’s Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating women’s equality.
Here at Eat My Logo we are a strong team of 13, including 10 females!
Director Ruth Poar started her business in a high street cake shop in Chorley town centre. When the demand for Edible Logo Products increased, so did our Production space. Eat My Logo is now situated in a 9,000 square foot unit, just 5 minutes from the town centre.
Last year, Ruth won the Family Business Award at the Enterprise Vision Awards, this is a fantastic achievement and a great step forward in Women Empowerment.
The majority of staff at Eat My Logo started with the business on Apprenticeships, and have now moved on to higher roles, including Amy Lang, who started with us 4 years ago on a Digital Marketing Apprenticeship, and has now progressed into the role of Sales Operations Manager, managing a small team, and overseeing the sales desk.
