Members of the Galpeg Associate Programme got ‘write to the heart’ of the promotional pens business recently when leading manufacturer Senator hosted an open day for them.

The event provided the associates with a chance to meet the Senator team, tour its print facility and network over dinner.

Lorraine Mollart, of Saint Promotions, said: “I thoroughly enjoyed spending time with the Senator team. I feel this will benefit all the associates moving forward, having gained a better understanding of the processes involved, from enquiry stage through to the finished order.”

Daisy Downe, of Daisy Chain Merchandise, commented: “It was a fantastic visit. We received such a warm reception and it was a pleasure to be shown around the impressive production facility and meet the team – they definitely deserve their ‘Centre of Excellence’ accreditation.”

Russ Platt, director of Blue Fish Promotional Merchandise, stated: “The key thing for me was learning more about the USPs of the Senator range, such as their production capability and background and also the range of printing techniques. This enables us to put the Senator products in front of our customers and be confident of both our product knowledge and the quality of the pens themselves.”

Sid Yaseen of Twelve Ten Promotions added: “I’m confident the visit to Senator will yield results for us all. I feel even more equipped and confident knowing we can sell the benefits of the fantastic range. To top it off, the hospitality from the Senator team was simply wonderful.”

Danny Heenan, of Ashro Promotions, said the visit had been ‘a real eye-opener’. “I was impressed with the staff, the factory itself was spotless and attention to detail was there to be seen at every turn.”

Galpeg programme director Paul Green added: “It was a very productive meeting and our thanks go to Senator for their kind hospitality.”
