Ian Hill of Fleqs is taking part in a local 10K run event in Warrington; as part of a wider fundraising campaign that he is part of, with a charity called Dreams Come True; a charity who support children affected by serious and life limiting illnesses.
The charity are fulfilling “a dream” for Ian’s son Matthew (he has a rare chromosome disorder) to fund a specialist travel bed that will allow them as a family to go away on holiday and visit family who live far away; something which at present is not possible due to his condition and lack of awareness of danger.
Matthew features as the face of the appeal for the next few months which Dreams Come True are running. After receiving the application for the dream, the charity asked if Ian would take part in filming – the interview can be seen on their website:
