The iconic Emirates Old Trafford Cricket Ground played host to the BIG Promotional Trade Show as it visited Manchester on Thursday, April 4.

The show attracted large numbers of visitors from the small independents through big regional distributors to national and multi-national organisations with everyone going home happy.

Oliver Simpson of LSI said: “The show had a great feel as soon as we walked in, and as I already know most of the suppliers but quite a few only from phone conversations, it was good to put names to faces and to see their products in real life.

“Some shows are so big and busy you miss out on the chance of speaking to many people but here it was easy to go around and talk to every exhibitor. We’ll definitely be back next time.”

Morgane Bernard from Brand Addition added: “It’s been an amazing show and we’ve seen some great new products.”

Exhibitor Hans Laubis, of Hainenko, commented: “It’s been a very good show for us – we’ve seen both existing customers and new prospects. We’ve had a very good level of enquiries and a number of requests for quotes, which we’ll be seeing to tomorrow. We prefer this type of show because you have more time to speak to people.”

On each stop of the show, the exhibitor judged to have the most eye-catching stand has been awarded a prize. At Manchester, the prize went to Premier Brands. Showcasing many of the industry’s leading companies, the shows feature up to 60 of the top suppliers of promotional merchandise and services from the UK, Europe &Ireland at conveniently located venues – next stop Riverside Venue, London Heathrow on 11th April.
