As WA Media, organizer of the HAPTICA® live ’20, announced on March 10, the “Experience of Haptic Advertising” originally planned for March 18 will be postponed to June 18, 2020. The reason is the developments related to the COVID-19 epidemic. After the Health Minister of North Rhine-Westphalia, Karl-Josef Laumann, had already publicly instructed the local health authorities to follow the recommendation of the Federal Health Minister to cancel large events with more than 1,000 participants, a case of force majeure occurred, which made it impossible to stage the HAPTICA® live ’20 on the originally planned date. Furthermore, on March 10, a decree was issued by the NRW Ministry of Health, which includes instructions to cancel events for over 1,000 participants.

The “Experience of Haptic Advertising” will now take place at the WCCB in Bonn on June 18, 2020. The venue date lies favourably after the bank holidays in May/June and before the summer vacations in all of the German states. Moreover, it doesn’t crash with any other industry event in Germany. All exhibitors and previously registered visitors were immediately informed separately.
