Great Central Plastics are delighted to welcome graduate Amber Crighton as the latest addition to their team.

Amber is joining the team as their Marketing Executive after recently graduating from Loughborough University, where she studied Communication and Media Studies BSc (Hons).

With a strong passion for the university’s societies, combined with being heavily involved in various charity work throughout her 3 years at university, it was only natural for Amber to run for voluntary positions on society committees.

One of her positions on committee was as the promotional representative. In this role, she designed all their promotional material for the fresher’s bazaar, maintained their website, relaunched their twitter account and held the society’s first ever Facebook competition.

Amber’s other role was as an events co-ordinator on the societies committee, during which she assisted with the events planning of some large scale events such as the societies ball and winter showcase, as well as some smaller events.

Amber also worked at the Career Centre at the university in her third year, during which she helped with several career fair events, as well as helping with the marketing of a new section within the Careers Centre.

While Amber’s degree mostly focused on the theory behind the media industry, Amber’s creative skills were realised years before while studying a BTEC in Media Production at Northampton College. It was there that she gained skills in Photoshop, Final Cut Pro and InDesign and Dreamweaver.

Amber is very enthusiastic about joining the Great Central Plastics team and they look forward to using Amber´s specialist knowledge and skills to help them grow the business, launch their social media presence and improve the level of service they offer their customers.
