Certified wholly women-owned business Outstanding Branding, a global distributor of promotional merchandise, can exclusively reveal Client Experience Manager Fred Goozee’s new look this week. On Valentine’s Day, Goozee took the bold step of cutting off his signature long locks, for two fantastic causes.
Generous donations and support from Fare Umbrellas have allowed Goozee to raise over £3000 for Children with Cancer UK – a charity dedicated to raising money for research and providing care for children with cancer.
Additionally, the 16 inches of hair, once removed, was collected and sent to The Little Princess Trust where it will be made into a wig and provided free of charge to a child who has lost their hair due to cancer treatment.
“It means a lot to me to be able to support these amazing charities”, commented Goozee. “it’s something I’ve wanted to do for a long time, and to finally be able to provide hair for a wig for a child with cancer, is the most incredible feeling.
Smashing my original goal of £1000 to raise over £3000 for Children with Cancer UK, is also phenomenal and I can’t thank all my sponsors enough”.
Outstanding Branding CEO, Sarah Penn, adds “My late brother suffered from cancer as a child, so these are naturally both causes close to my heart. I am extremely proud to have people in #teamOB who are prepared to make sacrifices, put other people first, and make a difference”.
The event was sponsored by Fare Umbrellas, specialists in high quality, innovative, customizable umbrellas, who provided an incredible donation of £500; a sum also generously donated by one of Outstanding Branding’s top suppliers, Laltex Group of companies.
Thanks also goes to hairdresser Cece of Tabard Barbers, who kindly gave her time free of charge to make the cut.
