A group of pen specialists from Ireland, the UK, France and Germany became a 38 piece band, all banging out the same rhythmic beat, when the Goldstar EU team came together for their annual team building day.

With everyone on percussion instruments, from kettle drums to snare drums, cymbals to triangles, the choice of location, the iconic Slane Castle – home to some of Ireland’s most historical music events of the last 30 years – was perfect.

There were also presentations to and recognition for the company’s ‘Unsung Heroes of the Year’ as the Goldstar team had voted in advance for colleagues who had demonstrated the company’s core values.

Colin Loughran, General Manager of Goldstar Europe, which was named ‘Supplier of the Year’ at the BPMA Awards 2017 said: “At Goldstar, our dream is to become the best employer with the best industry reputation, and building a close and happy Goldstar ‘family’ is central to this goal.  Goldstar’s annual ‘team day’ also epitomises Goldstar’s ‘work hard, play hard’ philosophy, an approach that we believe ultimately delivers the best possible service for our customers.”
