Dublin, Ireland — Goldstar®, a global leader in branded products, announced the release of its 2025 Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Report, providing a transparent look at the company’s progress toward more responsible practices.
Rather than relying on buzzwords or broad sustainability claims, Goldstar’s report focuses on measurable data, independent verification, and increased traceability throughout its supply chain.
“Our approach to ESG is simple…be transparent about where we are and honest about where we’re going,” said Heather Smartt, Global Head of Goldstar. “We know our partners in the industry value facts over promises. This report reflects the real steps we’re taking to operate more responsibly while continuing to deliver quality products and reliable service.”
The 2025 ESG Report highlights progress across several key areas of Goldstar’s commitments.
Environmental Impact
Goldstar continues to focus on transitioning away from PVC and polystyrene while working to remove problematic plastics across its product range.
Independent Verification
99% of the company’s paper-based packaging and wood-fibre product lines are FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council) certified.
Supply Chain Transparency
Goldstar is expanding traceability through Digital Product Passports (DPP) supported by Aware™ Tracer technology, allowing customers to better understand the journey from raw material to finished product.
People and Culture
The report also highlights progress in inclusion, with 56% of management roles held by women.
While the report outlines meaningful progress, Goldstar emphasises that ESG is an ongoing journey.
“We’re not here to claim perfection,” Smartt added. “We’re here to share the steps we’re taking, learn from them, and continue improving. Responsible growth requires transparency, collaboration, and accountability.”
