At the end of April, Galpeg members were treated to a behind-the-scenes look at one of the promotional merchandise industry’s biggest success stories, as Laltex Group opened its doors for a visit packed with insight, innovation and plenty of hospitality.

The day brought together distributors from across the network for a deep dive into Laltex’s evolving business, from presentations across its divisions to a full-scale tour of its production and warehousing facilities in Manchester. Attendees saw first-hand the speed, scale and sophistication behind Laltex’s operation, including its extensive UK stockholding, advanced branding capabilities and rapid turnaround systems.

For many, the biggest takeaway was just how much the business has evolved.

Richard Andrews of Promotional Works commented:
“What impressed me most was how slick and professional the whole operation felt. Every part of the process seemed really well organised and it’s easy to see why Laltex has built such a strong reputation in the industry.”

Trevor Howard of Evergreen Branding added:
“The scale of the operation compared to my last visit is huge. Seeing the full process from branding to dispatch really highlighted their ability to turn things around quickly when customers need it.”

Russ Platt of BlueFish Promotional Merchandise was equally enthusiastic after revisiting the business nearly a decade on.

“The range of print techniques and branding methods is infinitely better than when I last visited. It was a genuinely productive trip, but what stood out most was the people. There’s clearly a culture of service and quality running throughout the whole organisation and that’s what makes Laltex such a trusted supplier.”

The visit wrapped up with an evening hosted by the Laltex team at Albert’s Restaurant, where industry chat gave way to good food, flowing drinks and the kind of banter that reminds everyone why this industry is built on relationships as much as products.
