Suffolk company exhibition another great success

Each year one of the first events logged into customers and suppliers diary is the Falcon Promotions “Promotional Gift and Merchandise Exhibition”. Held at The Newmarket Rowley Mile Conference Centre, the event has grown in strength year on year since its conception 14 years ago and is a “Must Visit Event” for all buyers and suppliers of promotional gifts.
The Woolpit based company employs 14 staff and in their 27th year of trading in this competitive and creative industry,  they have definitely created the winning formula with their annual Exhibition.
 
A good number of regular and long established suppliers to Falcon Promotions, exhibited a wide range of Promotional Merchandise
They were rewarded with a string of quality enquiries on the day ,within the space of 24 hours many valuable  orders had been placed. Visitors to the show had definite ideas into the type of products required, from ear plugs for bikers to carrot shaped USBs.
 
Falcon Sales and Marketing Director Paul Peachey said,  ” Although numbers generally attending  exhibitions maybe down, the quality of enquiries remained high and a number of suppliers commented on how enthusiastic the buyers were that visited on the day. Innovation was important and the large range of products available was evident from the keen interest and general order in-take shown from the Falcon order book. Many customers visited the show looking for ways to promote their next company campaign or product launch”  
 
He continued, “The opportunity for our customers to meet a wide range of suppliers is paramount, we feel that Falcon continue to promote what is available in the promotional market place without the hassle of travelling afar. This excellent venue is the ideal central point for our clients in East Anglia, although many customers travelled from further a field and the venue has already been booked for 2014.

Ian Duncan, Managing Director of CNB Limited said, “The exhibition is a great place to help formulate marketing strategies for our clients, there is always a great selection of new ideas. We were able to place substantial orders for Mugs, Pens and Diaries for a client that we are currently helping to rebrand their business. Sarah Parish, Senior Event Co-Ordinator of IDTechEx Ltd said, “Falcon Promotions consistently give outstanding service, they are quick, efficient and competitively priced. They also have a wide range of suppliers to source whatever we require, even if this is a bespoke one off or off the wall item. We found the show very enormously helpful, talking with suppliers and seeing their range of products directly and went away from the show with several new ideas. We will definitely attend next year ! For us Newmarket is also a hassle free and quick venue to get to as well.”

Lots of genuine interest from the customers make for a good show and like last year , we are positive that Keramikos will be receiving orders in the coming weeks. “
 
Andrew Williams, Sales Director for Pencom said, ” It was great to be back in front of the Falcon customers – so many genuine enquiries and good feedback from what is obviously a loyal customer base ! A really steady flow of customers with a diverse range of requirements – from the inexpensive through to our prestige range of pens. But most interest seem to be concentrated on our range of soft stylus pens – a sign of the times ! – definitely an order or two on the way !!
 
Richard Jones from Branded Products said : ” We were so pleased to be involved in this event again this year, I had been trying to get an invitation to this exhibition for years as an exhibitor. The great thing about this is the quality of the visitors to the show, Falcon Promotions are masters at getting our products in front of the right type of quality prospect “
 
 
Falcon Managing Director, Les Wright commented, “As always a large amount of effort went into this year’s show, a great deal of the time was spent by our sales team encouraging customers and potential customers to visit the show. With the support our suppliers give us,  it is very pleasing and satisfying to see yet again the quality of the enquiries they receive from those that attend the Falcon Exhibition.”
 
On the day prior to the Exhibition a golf day was organised for the suppliers at Bury St Edmunds Golf Club and was extremely well supported. Richard Jones from Branded Products won the individual event with a Stapleford score of 38 points, the team prize being won by Les Wright, Mike Busson, Robert Hicks and Sion Jones.
This was a huge success and may well be held next year with the support of the suppliers. It was then onto Bedford Lodge where Falcon hosted a dinner for 68 suppliers and staff.
 
After Dinner, Les Wright thanked all the suppliers for their help and support during the year. He reiterated the great relationship Falcon have with the suppliers and congratulated the Falcon staff for helping build that relationship. The evening was finished off by comedian Adger Brown with his humorous look into the Promotional Industry.
 
As mentioned earlier, next year’s Exhibition has already been booked for Wednesday 1st October at Newmarket Rowley Mile.
