Leading wide format printer FaberExposize UK makes its final investment of the year with the purchase of a Klieverik GTC101-3500 Dye Sublimation Fixation Calender. The new dye sublimation machine will allow the company to increase its dye sub production and will significantly speed up the in-house printing processes. This is the fourth major capital investment in the span of a year initiated by the management team after the company acquired the Avinci CX3200 Dye sublimation printer, Jeti Tauro H3300 UV Printer and Zünd G3 flatbed cutter.
Since the start of the year, Iain Clasper-Cotte (Managing Director, FaberExposize UK & Northern Flags) has invested over £1 million into the Yorkshire region, reshoring jobs that were historically produced in factories in Poland, Germany, and the Netherlands, increasing the region’s print production and creating more job opportunities for print enthusiasts and specialists in Leeds and beyond.
The purchase of the Klieverik dye sublimation calender puts FaberExposize UK in a strategic position as the company is one of the very few wide format printers to have full redundancy for every stage of the fabric production process. “We have recognised our clients’ reliability on speed which is why we decided to acquire a second calender. Having two of the same machines means that we can proceed with our production even during the maintenance period of one of them. This is particularly important in industries such as Exhibitions, Events, Sports and Retail where having the capacity to offer just-in-time production is a dealbreaker” said Iain Clasper.
The large format printer’s approach towards print manufacturing and business expansion has been recognised over the years at various industry awards with the most recent ones being Wide Format Print Company of the Year at the UK Graphic Awards 2022 and SME of the Year at the National Business Awards 2022.
