I attended the Sourcing City Live show last week with the attitude that I really do not like Trade Shows. I do not like the hustle and bustle and usually tend to grab what I need and get out asap. Firstly listening to Simon Weston prior to the show opening was not only inspiring, but very thought provoking filling my head with ideas. Then onto the show? I had booked back to back appointments, I have to say that the online booking of appointments the weeks before the show was a brilliant touch. Simple, straight forward and it planned my time – and my timing throughout the day.  I left the show extremely pleased, It had been a relaxed atmosphere with military timing and I got to see everyone I wanted and a few more and I left feeling “now that is how to do a show.”
The night do was also fantastic. I have to have a special mention to Jason, Nikki and Tanya who just could not do enough for you. Their attitude (that seems to be standard as sourcing city staff) was second to none and they went out of their way to make sure I (and everyone else) was OK during the whole day and evening. They all work hard, then play hard and it’s a joy to see. Top Show, Top night with Top people.  PS Stavros Flatley…genius!

A really worthwhile show. My biggest observation was that the true trade exhibitors were talking to professional distributors whose main business is promotional products. The small add-ons were well thought out; sandwiches, drinks, sweets were appreciated, especially the crepes and smoothies! I will go again next year. Congratulations on a well organised event.

As an overseas supplier, Sourcing City LIVE! offered the possibility to spend quality time with distributors who we work with, as well as those who we wish to work with. The fact that SC LIVE! has a very strict criteria of distributor visitor is vitally important, so that we come into contact with only quality Professional People, but most important of all is the opportunity of preparing well in advance with targeted distributors and having quality meetings at the event.
