When neurodiversity goes to work: the creative advantages of a more divergent team
Register here.
In an age of increased mental health awareness and value reassessment, it’s never been more important to appreciate neurodiversity – or to celebrate the many benefits of a neuro-inclusive culture in business and beyond.
With a suspected 1 in 25 UK adults being diagnosable as ADHD, the likelihood of the most common neurodevelopmental difference being present in your company is high. The BPMA has been exploring what this means for employees and employers alike.
- How does a neurodivergent employee bring benefits to a business?
- What happens when employees disclose an ADHD diagnosis?
- Is there support for companies to help make adjustments to support their workforces?
The BPMA supports Mental Health Awareness Week, which takes place in May – and, as a part of the work we’ve undertaken on diversity and inclusion this year, we are delighted to welcome ADHD expert and coach, Kevin Exley of Unherded.
Speaking to members on 4th May at 12:30 (and with a chance to ask questions), Kev will explain more about what it means to have a neurodivergent workforce; why equipping employers and employees with the right tools matters; and how recognising a neurodivergent workforce is important for every organisation.
This session is for members only. If you are interested in joining this session and are not a member, please contact Carey Trevill.
